Very pretty! I WSed Clarkia for the first time this year-put some in pots, the rest in the ground-liked the pots best.

I direct sowed mine this year and they haven't done anything, as well as the five other types of seeds I sowed. This bed they are in is cursed, CURSED I tell you! Nothing but my daffodils want to grow in it, and it's in the front yard so everyone that passes by can see its patheticness. Oh, BTW, your Clarkia are very pretty!

My same clarkia is SO SMALL!! What's the difference? Did I get it in the ground too late? Sow too late? When did you sow yours? I admittedly got a very late start on my WS this year and didn't get the seeds even in the jug until late April. Is my timing or my garden...or the gardener?!
