wayback machine has till jan 2008 and gw has from feb 2009 onwards. threads of whole one year are missing. hopefully they will come to wayback machine later.

i wish GW had archiving of all the useful information it gets from froum users.

Daisy I too wish things were archived here. Sometimes I do a search here before anywhere else when related to gardening.

Maybe those threads Monty made with step-by-step photos are in there. I did do a search through most of it with no luck, but I wonder if his name was spelled "Monte?" I'll try again later.

I've found that Google's cache keeps GW threads longer than GW does, so I've been able to read some old things by clicking for the cached version. I also find it easier to search for stuff on GW while using Google.

I use Advanced Search with gardenweb.com in the domain, I just leave gardenweb.com in the domain, and use other keywords and phrases up above. I don't know how far back they go.
