Sowing in Milk Jugs Now in July

So I'm wondering if I can sow seeds of bee balm and seeds of coneflowers and hollyhocks now so that I can get blooms next spring or summer of 2012?

Will they have enough time to establish roots?

The bee balm I want to produce is the Monarda I think -- it's red and they are beautiful.

Thanks,

Lesa
