Got pix of your Agrostemma?

This is a new one for me this year, and touts itself as a "filler" type flower. Now I see why: it's sorta floppy. But the blooms are pretty. I will use this again, but obviously this is one that needs to have a proper mate & place in the garden.

How do you use yours?

I love corncockle and mine does not flop at all. It is one of the only flowers of mine that has withstood all those heavy rains without even a whimper. My BBs, Poppies and Rose Campion have all flopped, but not this baby.

Gladys- LOVE the lavender one! I'll have to hit you up for seed later in the season. How long will these last, usually? Are they an 'all season' thing like blanketflower and coreopsis, or do they have a short life-span?

mmqchdygg, they have blooming for a long time now since June 17th by the date on my pics. It is actually a bright purplish pink my camera is sucky with it's colors for some reason. And yes remind me that you want some seeds in the fall. I think the trick is to transplant them in hunks so they can support each other. I planted them out on April 18th. Here is what it looked like before: corncockle on bottom far right.
