Heuchera/Coral Bells true from seed?

I have several that have already bloomed, and (if I figure out how to collect that seed, I'll collect them) I'm wondering if, like hostas, they might not come true from seed? I like all the diff't colored ones I have now; would like some more for other spots, plant swaps, etc. Thanks!

I tried once, with 'Palace Purple' seed I got in a trade.

I sowed 64 cells with 10-20 seeds each on March 10, 2005.

I got about 50% germination (by cells), but they didn't look very purple as seedlings:

I planted out 33 cells, in a nursery bed, on November 2. Here's how they looked the following year:

As you can see, they look very close to the real thing. They're still in the same spot, and are begging to be divided and transplanted around the garden. They've completely filled the space. I'd go out and photograph them, but we're starting July with...what else? A frog-strangler!

I grown coral bells (pain old ones) from WSing in the past, but this year I received many "fancy" varieties in a large round robin swap. Lots of named ones with silvery leaves, red veins, etc. I've had incredible germination and planted some out tiny, but moved many to 3" pots to get bigger. The only heuchera seed that did NOT germinate was purple palace from my own garden! The ones from trade are "Silver Scrolls", "Americana" and "Venus". I am going to have 30+ plants by summers end and can fill some shady areas nicely! So yes, go for the heuchera!!!!!!!!
