mine die of after they flower in the spring. Might get some in the fall, but much smaller.

Some digitalis varieties are biennial and die after blooming. Though some individual plants might last more than one blooming season if they are deadheaded so they don't set seed.

Others are true perennials and bloom year after year.

All of mine stay green 12 months a year. Leaves stay green through the winter and the plants keep enlarging from year to year. Have been doing this for the past 8 years.

The original seeds where from a trade way back in 2003, WS in 2003-2004, bloomed first time in 2005 and been blooming every year since.

I guess it must be this awful heat. I know I wish I could shrivel up and go away! LOL.

Curious about what BEAP stands for? Do you count every little seed that you put in a trade?
