My husband said he is romping happily where he brought him - well not so sure "happy" but at least he is free again.

My havahart trap is really hard to set, never caught anything with it yet. It was mainly to get birds, chipmunks and squirrels OUT of the house.

Well, I got them out using a variety of tricks. The last darn bird got in twice, would not fly out an open window or door, flew all through the house. The cat didn't help.

So I got it cornered in the bathroom perched on a holder for a hanging planter, opened the window, and shut the door. Got up in the night once, careful to get in and door shut, it was still up there, ignored me. Evidently by morning it felt safe enough to escape which it did.

There is ONE positive thing about rabbits in the yard, though: their pee does not stink like cats' pee!

Personally, I don't mind the bunnies. they are (mostly) content to eat the clover in the yard, and use the gardens more as cover. The one baby is so docile that I can get within a foot before she runs. And they are not afraid of my big fast dog, who thinks he wants to chase bunnies but is only allowed to chase squirrels.

yes, the bunnies WERE eating clover, grass, etc. but they view gardens as a salad bar and nibbled leaves of coneflowers, yarrow, and many many more plants - They didn't just stick to grass or I wouldn't mind at all - good fertilizer! :0)
