| Lovely blooms, Ladyrose. This was my first year growing Rudbeckias, and mine look like your second pic. I wintersowed them last year, and they bloomed this year, their second year. They are so lovely. Large flowers on strong stems. I have two sets, one in the front border and one in the back for cutting, but they are so lovely I have not cut any. I am hoping they are perennial in my zone, but will definitely try some more this year. I love glads., had them at my wedding but am always late getting them in. Mine are just a few inches tall and I'll probably get blooms in early fall. I love the beautiful pink of yours. I have bought a mix...always like the element of surprise. |

| Oh, that rudbeckia in the first picture is a beauty; which one is that? I like the double petals and color. I grew Prairie Sun for the first time this Spring, planted the seeds in 4 in. nursery pots. They are really pretty. I'm hoping they do okay over the winter months, but planning on planting more just in case. |
