| I sowed some broccoli seeds this spring but I think it got too hot too fast for them. Although they are still green and growing, they never produced any broccoli heads.
If I wanted to start all over again and have broccoli this fall, should I start some seeds now? |

| I've never grown broccoli, but my cauliflower a couple of years ago did the same thing - stayed green and healthy all summer, but no cauliflower. Until the weather started to get cooler, then they took off and produced some nice cauli into December. If you take care of your plants and keep them cool, I'm guessing they will produce for you in the fall. Most broc has a dtm of about 2 months, give or take, right? So if you start seeds now, you can probably have heads by September/October? Why not start some seed now? (Hope someone with more know-how comes along to respond...) PV |

| Lois, I have the same issue. The broccoli just keeps putting out green. |
