2 new blooms

Yehey, I saw 2 new blooms this morning. The irish eye isn't full blown yet though. I'll take another pic of it next week. :)

The other flower, coreopsis, I forgot which type it is. It's 4 ft tall and tons of buds. I wasn't expecting they would grow that tall. So it's in a wrong location. I also don't know if this are perennial. As far as I remember, they're annuals.

Both were wsown.

Here they are.

I saw burpee packets of irish eyes at Menards last weeks and they are on sale now. Hopefully, it's still there. :)

RE: ... 2 new blooms

I need some help. I noticed that I have so many yellows in my garden. I don't have much blue or red. Other than poppies and larkspur, bachelor button's(small flowers), what would you recommend?

I want to have an area with long lasting blue or red flowers(if possible until frost) that's about 10-13 ft x 5 ft. I wish cleome had blue. I remember seeing them the last flowering plants at my friend's place.
