Mine are not even reaching 6" tall and no bloom :( A few weeks ago I dug some up and moved from the shade to a spot with sun from 2pm on.....am hoping for improvement!! What do they prefer?
They definitely like full sun but will wilt if left to dry. Be sure to water adequately while in full sun. Thanks for the compliments! Vera, I think I recall I started growing them because you had them in your garden in Washington?
They are annuals, but such vigorous re-seeders, you would think they are perennials. Mine grow to 6 feet in fairly deep shade. I just select about 10 plants to grow on and pull the others each year. Quite stunning against a fence.
