Swizzle Zinnia F2

I only planted Swizzle for zinneas this year. Anyone ever save seed from Swizzles and planted them? I am wondering how they came out. (I wonder about the Cherry Brandy Rudbeckias too, but I think this is the first year that anyone would be saving those seeds.)

For some people they come up looking the same, but since they are hybrids there's a chance they turn up different.. not to mention they can cross-pollinate with other zinnias you have.

Here's a link:
Zinnia grow true to parent?

And here's a thread on zinnia breeding, I'm sure someone in there you have your answer:
It can be fun to breed your own zinnias - Part 12

Thanks. I will give it an ask over there. What a great series!

The only zinnias that come true for me are Profusions.

I bought swizzle ivory red and yellow red from parksd. they performed beautifully this past summer. I saved some seeds and planted a couple to see what I get. Sown in mid october, one just started blooming 1st of November, the other still in bud. All this is under lights of course as we start having frost mid October.
the plant in bloom is identical to swizzle ivory red. The swizzles do come true from seed. I'm waiting for the other plant in bud to see what it'll be. If I remember correctly it should red and yellow swizzle as I planted one of each. Should've planted more just to be sure all come true, but what are the odds the only seed I plant is true..
