| This last winter ago I WS'd regular blanket flower and some seeds from the Razzle Dazzle variety (all from my own first year plants). I had mixed all the seeds together so I when I planted out my HOS and they flowered this year (first year!) I got all neats variations of the razzle dazzle. Anybody else experience this? |

| Not sure aabout cross-pollination, but Razzle Dazzle, like many gaillardias, is a hybrid, so the babies will seldom resemble the parent plant. I have a red & yellow with semi-fluted petals - I suspect the original parent was Fanfare - and this year have planted a new hybrid called Gallo Peach. It will be interesting to see what the seeds produce! |
