Yeah, this is what happens when you winter sow, and expect a child in May/June time. *lol* In the back there you can see some flowers desperately trying to outgrow the weeds. Hubby is nearly done with school and has promised to clear the area for me for next year.

Here's what was growing in mah belleh:

Beautiful baby. Enjoy that special sprout, they don't stay little very long. You can always wintersow again.

What a cutie pie sprout you have there. Hope the classes went well and what great way to work off all that sitting in a classroom blahs by cleaning up the yard so you can have barbecues.

I love pictures of flowers, but I love pictures of babies even more. Thanks and blessings.

My sentiments will be repeated..what a cutie! Tell DH a good weed wacker will clean that weed patch down in no time! You know what I bet there are a lot more gardeners that have the same problem and they're chicken to show their pics..you know that ole saying Gardening is all about Trial and Error? LOL! How many milk jugs did you sow this year? I know I'm only doing so much in Jan. and that might be my last year doing perennials.

At least one of my garden beds looks like that (top picture) every year, and I don't have your great excuse (bottom picture).

What did you name your adorable child?

 o
RE: Wintersowing gone horribly wrong. (Pic included! ;o))

Thank you all for the compliments. Our adorable daughter is named Alexandra :o)

I sowed over 100 containers, I can't remember the exact amount. I salvaged the thyme and basil and they are now in pots on the back porch. This was my first year winter sowing, but we'll call this a trial run.

Lovely baby. When I was pregnant I couldn't see my knees, forget about the ground!

The weeds and seeds can wait, the baby needs you nowowowowowowowowowowowwwwwww.

Well, I just love that cute little baby! What a happy girl! Just let those weeds grow and grow. Who cares? She's just too cute to put aside for week whacking. You can call your weed bed your Priority Bed, because it's proof that you've got your priorities right!
