Gardenening is experimenting!
Have you ever left a bunch of seedlings in a terra cotta pot in hard top soil because you didn't have enough room or where just lazy and you keep watering them anyway? These are asters that should be over 12" tall by now. The tallest one is about 6" and most are only 3" tall. There should be about 10 that bloom tiny dwarfed flowers and one sorta half size one. I guess they decided they were going to keep growing anyway. I watered them along with my other pots, they got no special treatment. Is this really that weird or am I that much if a noob that it only surprises me? I collected the seeds from a plant my sil gave me last year. I threw in the fluff and got this. I planted a bunch already but thought a pot of them would nice too and this is the result. I thought most would die and it would look nice. It does look interesting.
