| I have collected and dried some of Gallardia seeds. Do they need to be put in the freezer before I winter sow them in November or December. Thanks. |

| No. Remember, putting seeds in the freezer isn't going to give you cold strat unless there is a moist medium. They winter sow just fine. In fact, I have great luck spring and summer sowing them too. They like warm temps and grow best for me in drought conditions. Relax, have fun and enjoy. |

| Gaillardia is on my "No cold stratification" list based on information from both Diane's Flower Seeds & Swallowtail. They're very easy to grow via WS and bloom non-stop. This was taken just yesterday:
