| I had no idea that there was a group on facebook for Wintersowers!! Well I am sure a lot of you already knew this but for those of us that didn't now you do. I think it is a great way for us to put pictures with faces, and also we don't have to go to a third party web client to upload pictures.
Great job Trudi and Thank you!!
Now I can quit trying to hunt down the like button when someone post something on here that I like, LOL. |

| I'm so glad you joined the group Carolyn--it's another venue for Winter Sowers to meet and exchange ideas. I started the group last year and it was slow to take off, but now there over 600 members. As usual, there has not been much, if any, dialogue throughout summer, but summer in the northern hemisphere is over and night temps are getting colder and some people have already had their frosts and snows. So, it's time to start gearing up for WS and with it, lots more WS discussions across all the forums, groups and blogs. There are an amazing amount of Winter Sowers on the internet and they meet and greet in their favorite venues. There are people at the FBWS group that don't post on forums but like the FB network. |

| I am thrilled I happened to stumble across it actually. I have been looking at all the pictures, and getting some great ideas. I love the fact that the pictures never go away and you don't have to dig through old threads to find them. Also you don't have to keep checking a post to see if anyone responded to it cause you get notifications sent right to your page. I like it!! lol |

| Please don't stop posting photos here as some of us are not on Facebook. |

| mnwsgal, Facebook is another way for WSers to meet up--it's not a competition between any of the any forums or blogs about WS ;-) T |

| I'm glad that there is a Facebook page for those who choose to use it. What I am worried about is that if posting photos is easier on Facebook people will post their photos there and not post them here. Just want them to know that some of us still want to see their lovely and inspiring photos here as well. |
RE: Well I be!!

| I don't think that will happen ;-) |

| I don't either!! For me personally it is 2 different places. I enjoy gardenweb, it is all about plants and learning about plants. Facebook is facebook, and it will never compare to gardenweb. Plus I found gardenweb before I found facebook, and I always will choose gardenweb when it comes to plants. I choose facebook when I want to be nosy rosy, lol. Oh and in the back of my mind I was seriously thinking, ok if I upload pictures to my facebook page then that means everyone on my friends list will see them. The people around here already think I am weird. What in the world are they going to think when they see me with my recyclables growing plants out of them. Either they are going to say poor Carolyn, she is hurting so bad she has to grow plants out of water bottles, LOL. Or they may say hey that is a great idea she is pretty smart. LOL Anywho facebook is a place where you keep in touch with people all over the world. I have family in california, flordia, ohio, virginia, oklahoma and kentucky so for me that is why I use it. |
