| Are you ready?? I'll be posting the swap details on Saturday, October 15th. I'm very excited about this year's swap. It's going to be bigger than ever!
We're going to be enabling some newbies as well this season. (because let's face it, that's what we do best!) While we're busy gathering and packing our seeds we'll be swapping WS stories of doom & gloom from our WS experiences in 'Spooky' October, and sharing our WS stories of success and sharing our thanks for each other's generosity in November in honor of Thanksgiving. There will be a few games along the way with some very nice prizes too! I look forward to stepping into the hostess position this year and invite you all to join in and have a great time, meet some other winter sowers, and do what we do best ~ share the seeds! ~Wendy / Sassyb. |

| I don't have a lot of seeds--not like last year--but I can throw a few into the kitty. Ditto trudi's question, what do you need in the way of help? |

| Thanks ladies! I'll post the 'official' thread sometime tomorrow. We have a busy day planned for the family so whenever I have the 'down time' I'll get that post up there~ I'll be posting it on the Winter Sowing Exchange forum like previous years have done, along with a link on this forum. As far as what I need... just lots of participation and perhaps suggestions on any 'leftovers' and how & who to send the extras to. I'm sure bakemom could use some for the newbie project, and, of course, the wintersown.org site. :) Everyone always seems to have plenty of extras and I want to be sure every seed gets sent to someone for use! Gardenweed ~ any amount is fine! I can almost guarantee you'll receive more than you send in if the past year's swaps are anything to go off of. I'll be back with the sign up tomorrow! ~Wendy |

| I was just corresponding with Wendy. I hadn't checked the forum since the other day and I thought I would stop by. Trudi how ironic you were the first one to hit the post. I mentioned you in the email. Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes, did I mention tomatoes. LOL Last year it seemed there were quite a few people that had veggies on their want list. Well even if a list did not contain a lot of veggies sometimes tomatoes were the only things grown, veggie wise. Which I think is wonderful, bad part though there were only a few packs sent in. Assuming this years swap will be like last years swap I believe there will also be more request for the cherry ripe goodies. If you have any you could spare I think that would be awesome for the swap!! Other things that were highly requested were shade plant seeds (not hosta) and fragrant plant seeds. |

| I haven't been involved in the swap before. What are "cherry ripe goodies"? They sound fun. If I know what they are, maybe I can send some in. Martha |
