Anyone grow Candy Lily?

aka Pardancanda x norrisii? I WS 5 water bottles this year, had no germination, so I've left them go, waiting to see if they'd sprout. Well, I have a sprout in one bottle, but I'm not positive it's not a weed. The seedling looks like Blackberry Lily (one of its parents) but I'm still unsure. I can post a pic if it will help.
TIA

Shel,

That's what the seedling look like, congrats on the seedling and hold on to those containers.

I just found a bunch of them in a container I had forgotten all about that had no germination in it. Now I have seedlings out of 10 seeds.

Sometimes I find perfect germination sowing them, sometimes I find nothing till the fall, sometimes it's sporadic, and the seeds germinated at various rates.

What I've never had is a failure of all the seeds to germinate, just like to take their "own sweet time" to do their thing.

Thanks Fran! I was a little disappointed, but they weren't taking up much space so I left them all summer. Hot and dry, then August hit, we had torrential never ending rain, and I guess that's what they were waiting for. I haven't checked since I found the first one, who knows maybe there are more now.
Thanks again!
Shel
