Hi All-
Has anyone ever bought from Jellito? ( They have some ornamental grass seeds I'd like-- but it looks like they ship from Europe. Any feedback is appreciated!

RE: Jellito Seeds

They have the most impressive catalog of any nusery Ive ever seen, I have one from years ago I still use.

I ordered from them a few years ago when I was in my old home and it cost a pretty penny with shipping to get, but I did recieve the items. I think if memory serves they are from germany.

They are also more of a wholesaler , so like the package cost me like 50 bucks for 5 seed choices with shipment.

I find alot of thier stuff can be found here from prairie moon or swallowtail and similiar stuff, so there isnt that much need to get stuff from them.

I wouldnt worry about getting your items, just the cost.

Check the Garden Watchdog. Their reviews were excellent but most recent is 2006. I tried to post a link but GW censored it out and banned it. Google Garden Watchdog and you will find it. It would also be helpful if you added an email to your profile so people could email things to you which GW censors out.

I've never bought from them but I've only heard good things about the company.

RE: Jelito Seeds

After responding to another thread about this company, I noticed this one. The correct spelling of this company is Jelitto (with one L). The web address listed in the OP won't work. Their site can be found at I had to use Internet Explorer to get the site to work totally correctly.
