| I found the deco paint pens at Hobby Lobby. but they only had 3 or 4 colors. I wanted black so I went over to the model airplane and model auto aisle and they have paint pens by testers paints. they had the black so I got a couple. I tried it out at home and seems to work quiet well. just wanted everyone that likes decl pens to know that hobby lobby still carries them. the tester paint pens have enamel paint so dont know how it will hold up. but it did dry very fast and I couldn't rub it off with my fingers

| Thanks so much for the update Tom! There aren't any Hobby Lobby stores here in the northeast that I'm aware of. We've got Michael's and a few others but I don't think HL has made inroads this far north. I road tested one of the Sharpie paint pens today on a milk jug and they're great! The ink dries fast and the point isn't as thick as the Deco pens. Only time and harsh weather will tell if they hold up to winter sowing. |
