Hi Poaky,

You might have good luck finding these if you make a post on the main GW seed exchange.

You might also try the GW Texas Gardening forum.

Some of the people there might have them and never consider offering acorns.

Poaky,

Try to Tree Forum (link below). When I was looking for live oak acorns, members offered to send acorns (and seedlings) for postage.

Yesterday, a member sent an email asking if I wanted Bur oak acorns. of course, I said "yes". ;-)

Hello, thanks for the responses. I came here because it was suggested that I,d have better luck here. I will retry trees site, I would think more tree people more chance of tree seed.Poaky1

RE: tree seeds

I had gotten in touch with someone suggested to me from the trees site and he had no more acorns but from what he says the quercus fusiformis would not grow good where I,m at z0ne 6 it would survive but be an eternal shrub, not a tree, so I guess I wouldn,t really want it in my yard anyway. I love oaks and there are many I can grow here anyway, thanks for all input poaky1
