| Does anyone use 1 inch cubes for starting seeds? Where is the best place to buy them? |

| Can you elaborate? My knee-jerk wonders if they dry out too quickly. I use at least 3 inches of MG when I winter sow. |

| Bakemom, scroll down to see a couple of different kinds sold by this company. One thing I was thinking about using them for was green leafy vegetables. I wouldn't grow them very long in the cubes before transplanting them outside. |

| I used them this year for the "most critical" peppers and tomatoes. I start my seeds so early, I transferred those cubes to keg cups of soil. I'm not sure they were better then the much cheaper light greenish cubes, but they do degrade easier in the ground.
