| Pretty daylily! I started some from seed this past Spring, and have a nice patch of youngsters growing in the xeric garden (gave the seedlings extra water because it's a dry garden). I got the seeds from Jeanne_in_OH on the seed exchange, and she has some gorgeous daylilies she's hybridized. Can't wait to see what the blooms are like! What is the pretty pink flower in the middle? |

| Terrene, the pretty pink flower in the middle is Dianthus Loveliness. I adore it and this year it bloomed it's heart out. |

| flood - mind telling us where you got the seeds for the dianthus 'Loveliness?' I'm working on adding lots of dianthus to my various beds--they're just so tough and reliable, plus the ones I have bloom the whole season & thrive on neglect. What's not to like? Do you harvest seeds by any chance? |

| I traded for the seeds on the forum here at gardenweb. I didn't save seed this year. I really should have. I love dianthus too. I imagine the seed is available commercially somewhere though. |

| Just had one of those "Well, DUH!!!" moments because I picked up my plastic shoebox of seed packs and there on top were 6 Burpee packs of Dianthus 'Loveliness!' I remember buying them when they were 50% off at the job lots store. Guess I'd better add them to my WS spreadsheet before I forget about them again. |

| I had several red ones and yellow daylilies too. One that was a gorgeous peach. I'll have to add pics of those sometime. |
