If you aren't convinced Wsing is great. Here is my Blue for the White Delph, took me the 3rd season to get Blue but I won over another who took the Blue for Delphs for 8 years!

1st place 2009

Beautiful delphinium. I wish I could grow them here, same with lupines.

I love delphimiums, but I bought one discounted that promptly died. Then I think I read somewhere they were on the difficult side to grow, more delicate. Is that true?

My Lupines and Delphs are all in the same spot that they seem to love.
They get a few hours of morning sun, then a few hours of late afternoon sun.
The soil is a bit on the acidic side about 5.8 and I add some wood ashes over the winter to that bed.
Both the Lupines and the Delphs I have were WS'd 3 years ago.
