| They've been saying that for a while now, I keep going to that site, looking at things to buy, then don't. Karen |

| Lol @ Lisa, well I am not going to browse......lol. |
|
| Swallowtail is a pretty good place, too. Prices are reasonable, shipping charge is reasonable, germination rates pretty good. Karen |

| Karen, It sure beats the 10.95 that t and m charged me to ship 29 packets of seeds last week!! Lisa(who ISN'T seed shopping) |
|
| I think T&M is just a hot mess since being bought by Gardens Alive, or merging, or whatever it was. As soon as I heard about it I was certain T&M would go downhill. The website sure did. Customer service has too. I assume the seeds are the same as always. Does anyone know a source for Begonia Boliviensis seeds? I have an order pending at T&M, can't even find out the status for sure. Swallowtail has one I wanted but Thompson and Morgan was the only place I found Boliviensis. Karen |

| Well I didn't want to start a new thread just to let ya know but trade winds fruit also has free shipping on orders of 7.50 or more. They have great prices, and a lot of uncommon things. Lots of veggies, herbs, fruit, and some flowers. Oh and several trees. |

| I thought FOR CERTAIN that I had consumed enough coffee today, but when I was going to google "swallowtail seeds", I instead typed "enablers" |

| LOL @ austinnhanasmom!! I would of never checked tradewinds if not for Lisa, so we can blame it all on her. Lol |
|
| This place is just full of enablers. Gets me into a lot of trouble! Karen |

| I got my order from trade winds yesterday. They look good, plenty of seeds, I am happy so far. If germination is good I will go back and I only wished I had seen the free shipping earlier before I purchased from another company. |
Here is a link that might be useful: trade winds

| Have you noticed how many mail order catalogs are offering FREE SHIPPING this time of the year. The weaken economy has hurt them too and a lot of the mail order companies are trying to stay alive and continue to serve their customers. |
|
| Lisa. Thanks for the heads up of Swallowtail's sale. I wonder if it is still on next week. I will call them tomorrow. |

| Swallowtail still has free shipping. I ordered a pack from their bulk seeds section. I wasn't sure it would let me include that in my total for free shipping but it did. They have some seeds in their bulk seed section that aren't listed elsewhere in their catalog, including Zowie Yellow Flame zinnias which I was wanting badly. My sweet hubby told me to order some seeds to put under the tree so I did. : ) I think it should be a new tradition. lol |
|
| I think you are all a bunch of enablers. I passed up reading this thread on the 15th, 16th, etc. knowing I didn't need to order any more seeds. However today's bump was the final straw and I had to read the thread. Now I have to go check out the site. Someone stop the madness! |

| My Swallowtail order came in yesterday's mail. I didn't order enough to qualify for free shipping but I got the seeds I wanted: Gaura 'The Bride' Salvia Merleau Blue Sisrynchium - Blue Eyed Grass Pansy Pandora Rainbow Dolce Pansy Chianti Mix They sure had an awesome selection of unusual pansy seeds. I just gotta have pansies in my containers every year. They bloom like crazy and ask for nothing in return. What's not to like? Mmmn...well Bev, we all have to show our ENABLER cards when we enter the forum. I guess they don't have that red flag warning set up yet that says: "WARNING! The content you are about to view may lead to uncontrolled seed ordering!" Stop the madness? Why, whatever for? WWMND?* There are seeds out there just begging for someone to harvest and sow them. * What Would Mother Nature Do? |

| The Free-shipping is back! |
|
| I've been drooling over Swallowtail's catalog all fall, and every time I look, that free shipping offer is there. I finally placed an order, but not enough to qualify for free shipping. I had to have the Chianti pansies too. :-) Onalee's has a $5 minimum order, and free shipping on *every* order within the US. I've never ordered from her. Not ordering now because the items I'd want are out of stock at the moment. GW is rejecting clickable links to her page, possibly because it's a commercial site. Just do a web search for "Onalee." -Edie |

| I've gotten all the seeds that I ordered from Swallowtail now including some Zowie Yellow Flame zinnias that were in the bulk order section. All had a few more seeds than what was stated and I was happy to get the Zowie Yellow Flame in time for Christmas. The bulk order seeds take a little longer. I've learned to check how many seeds are in a packet before I order instead of just assuming there will be plenty. Some places are a bit stingy. |
