I've had great success with annual poppies, but I haven't tried any perennials. I don't believe I did anything special.

Ah, winter sown poppies are the best! Check out wintersown.org; once there, do a search for "poppies" - you'll find a great pictorial essay on poppies called "Life of a Poppy Bed".

Poppies are incredibly easy with Winter Sowing, they need to be planted while still very small--most of mine get planted when they barely have their first set of true leaves.

Always one of my reliable early sprouters-I've done annuals and perennials both. I've gotten some nice seeds in trades & at dollar stores as well as from usual sale sources. I may have some to offer, but in reality I haven't had time to inventory my seeds yet!
