How cool is that?

On the "What's New at GardenWeb" it says "Winter Sowing: Get a jump start on your spring garden." They link directly to our FAQs.

I hope we make some new friends!

Thanks Tamara.

Congrats Trudi! That says alot about the impact you've had on so many gardeners.
Having the links to all those common questions/topics new WSers have is very convenient (like me last year).
I found myself rereading some just now...never hurts to brush up :)

I think it'a great idea for everyone to reread the FAQs. The method is meant to be adapted to people's own needs and folks do discuss their variations. We get beginners who read the variations and give them a try without knowing the core principals.

I was able to take advantage of this today, I gave away my compost bin on freecycle, and the young woman who took it was surprised to hear about WS. I was able to tell her to check Garden Web, she said she comes here once in a while but now she will definitely check out GW again and look for WS. So glad they decided to feature this forum.

Thanks Trudi for wintersown.org. I happened on that site months before I found this one. One can learn so much by reading all the good information there. It's great to get encouragement here from seasoned gardeners but the infor on wsown is invaluable.
