You enablers..............

If I hadn't read that post about seed sources - I wouldn't have spent the last two hours generating a list that covers both sides of a sheet of paper of seeds to order. Now I have to thin it down to something that is manageable for me. Already looking forward to checking for sprouts and doing the dance - although not the naked equinox dance.
I've done a little bit of winter sowing the last few years but this year - jumping in with both feet.

Well, what do you mean about thinning down your list? It's nice to have a lot of seeds to sow ;-)

My Hazzard's seed order list had gotten way too long and expensive. This morning I whacked it down by half based on all the seed types I've traded for. My WS spreadsheet still lists over 70 new seed types I'll be sowing between now and April. I just bundled up a few minutes ago and went walkabout scouting out spaces between plants where I can squeeze in the 2012 WS perennials.

These are just the ones I harvested from my own & the neighbors' gardens:

Can anyone point me to where I sign up for addiction services?

Gardenweed I am impressed with your organization. I thinned my list down somewhat. I'm off tomorrow so am going to peruse the empty spaces in my flower bed to help me better tell what I need as far as height and color. My garden is predominantly pink, purple and white with a few shots of yellow. I am looking for some more intense shades of purple and pink so will be trying to narrow my list down somewhat by height, color and bloom time. My main flower bed varies from 3 to 6 feet deep and runs along about 80 feet of a chain link fence. I have a smaller flower bed on the other side of the house about 4 feet deep and 30 feet long, so it's alot of space to fill. I have shrubs, roses, evergreens and trees mixed thru as well. It is definitely a work in progress - 5 years into it. I am kind of gimpy and on a tight budget so it's slow going. I appreciate all the good info I find on this website.
