| Hi,
I am new to winter sowing, and am wondering if I should pre-soak and inoculate sweet peas or any beans like green bean or edible peas before winter sowing? I do know they don't really like being transplanted, so I am wondering if I should winter sow these at all? Can't get this planting bug out of me... |

| You do not have to presoak anything before winter sowing. |

| They are so easy to direct sow in the spring, but this year I planted mine very late, they came up, just not that many blooms. Green for the longest time. This was my first year trying them, I did the High Scent. Even though there were only a few blooms, I could smell them from far away. So intoxicating. I like the idea of WS to give them a start, then transplant where I want them. I just worry about the roots not handling the move... And I wonder if I inoculate them if it will make a difference? My package expires at the end of this month, I thought I could sneak it in there.... |
