garystpaul(4)Updated Those are beauties and definitely ready for transplant, IMO. If you have a lot, I'd plant them in those plastic flats for later transplant directly to the garden (maybe 32 per flat). Or, if you want them bigger, you could pot them...

wally_1936(8b)Updated I have been told to let them dry out for ONE day and then plant. I understand they do not like being dried out completely. Like morz8 says give them a try is all you can do.

wally_1936(8b)Updated Depends on the seed size. Some like okra, daylilies, citrus etc may take longer. For them I just wait until they start to sprout before planting. Those I use coffee filters and keep them moist all the time.

calistoga_al ca 15 usda 9Updated A diluted worm casting tea used about every fourth time you water should be useful. If you wish to use worm castings without dilution I think they would be better mixed into the soil before transplanting your seedlings into it. Al
