| Wow, made the first sweet cider off the Y-mill tree on Bud 9 and canned it, boy is it good! Truth be told, I mixed in a few apples off a different tree I budded several years ago but, Y-mill was the lion's share of the fruit in the mix. too bad there's only 3 more on the tree and I forgot to put the dozen or so apples in the fridge in while we made the juice, musta been excited. speaking of exciting, I finally got an electric motor attached to the scrater, boy did that speed things up!!! Hope all is going well in y'all's orchards, Michael |
