Hi,

I'm a new member and this is my first post. Nice forum!

What kind of tree is this? It's coming up volunteer near my garden. Tempted to transplant and keep it.

Thanks!

I'd recommend the Name That Plant! forum, and, you might want to include the location (or add your location and zone to your member info - very important for most questions/posts).

Here is a link that might be useful: Name That Plant! Forum

It looks like an Ash (Fraxinus). Most can be identified further by examining leaf scars which are not visible in the photo. It also helps to add where this plant is growing-the Midwest, Canada, Greece, etc.!
