Just wondering if anyone has been contacted by Du Pont? They are coming to see my tree June 19th. This year it only has a few branches that have leafed out. I have already had a Sunburst taken out. Imprelis is deadly stuff. It got a whole bed of daylilies also.

they paid me a year ago ...

$100 a foot on a 14 foot pine tree ..

and they didnt even spray my yard.. it was drift from the neighbor....

Thanks Ken for letting me know this. I am just sick about this tree. Taking it out will be a nightmare, as I have no access for a cherry picker to my yard and they will have to go thru the neighbors to take it out.

To Flowergirl70ks, you may want to contact an attorney that is specializing in harder situations like yours since it's been reported that DuPont's offers have been allegedly found to be a lot less than the actual damages people have incurred. Some have reported the actual damages are 10 times what has been offered as part of the class action settlement. You may want to consult an attorney. The chance to opt-out of the class settlement so your case can be handled separately on it's own merits and try to get full soil remediation is June 28 (this month)! Now, you may be perfectly fine with DuPont's offer, but it never hurts to consult a good attorney. I know of one that I've seen a lot of stories about that is fighting for Imprelis victims and filing separate cases on behalf of property owners who are not satisfied with the class offer. Wright & Schulte LLC I believe is their name. There are others of course, but that one comes to mind. They have a website with more information. Also, another forum called lawnsite has a lot of information about others dealing with Imprelis. Hope it all works out okay for you. Such a shame.
